Each of the 14 lakefront cabins at the Attean Lake Lodge is unique, but they all share one thing: Each is the perfect place to unplug, unwind and enjoy your time in nature. The all-inclusive resort is electricity free (the main lodge has solar power and wifi), so the one-, two- and three-bedroom cabins have gas lights and kerosene lanterns and wood-burning fireplaces – making them snug and cozy. Their covered porches overlook the pristine lake, where you can fish for trout or salmon, go canoeing or kayaking or request a few hours of tubing or waterskiing for the kids while you relax on the beach. Scrumptious breakfasts and dinners are served each day, and lunch is provided in a cooler for picnics along hiking trails or on remote beaches.
