New Natural History
Portalnd Museum of Art – Portland Now through May 11, 2008 Inspired by science and armed with a keen eye for observation, many of Maine's contemporary artists are drawn to the world of natural history. Traditional Indian Music by the Merasi – Portland, Pemaquid, North Haven, Freeport and Camden Now through May 9, 2008 The Merasi, a traditional Indian musical group, will present five exhilarating performances, transporting listeners to the fabled desert caravan routes of India, where the music evokes the age of Rajput kings, Muslim musicians, and Hindu devotion.
