Snowmobiling in Maine
Long before the Northeast’s cities see their first snowflakes Maine’s snowmobile trails are building up snowpack for the long season. New England’s largest wilderness areas are in Maine. Thousands of square miles of mountains, forest, lakes and country hamlets are connected by a 13,000 mile trail system. Keep your eyes open for wildlife sightings. For complete information about trails, requirements and regulations visit the website for the Maine Snowmobile Association.
