"Where the Mountains Meet the Sea"

Send emailEmail

The Snow Bowl is on the 1,300-foot Ragged Mountain and is just a short drive from picturesque Camden harbor. Nowhere else in the East can you glide down challenging ski slopes while enjoying a thrilling ocean vista unknown to other Eastern slopes. Ten trails are served by a 3,100-foot double chairlift and two T-bars, including the longest in the state-4,088 feet. Major trails are equipped with snowmaking and lighting. Cross country skiing, tobogganing, snowboarding, snowtubing, ice skating, and snowshoeing also are available at the Camden Snow Bowl. The Snow Bowl is the location for the annual U.S. National Toboggan Championships the first weekend in February. Come ski the Snow Bowl and experience "where the mountains meet the sea." Summer activities include lodge rentals, hiking, mountain bike trails, tennis, swimming, boat launch, and ball field. The Camden Snow Bowl has something for everyone!

The 12 ships in the Maine Windjammer Association have a well-earned reputation for outstanding sailing adventures and delicious down-home cooking. One night everyone goes ashore for a traditional island lobster bake. Three- to six-day cruises available from May through October. Depart from Camden and Rockland.
