Campground in Western Lakes/Mountains region make for great family vacations

That’s why the Point Sebago Resort, which began life as a campground, pays homage to its history with 100 impeccably maintained RV sites (tents are also allowed), all with water and electricity. Many sites have septic hookups and/or 50-amp service. Pump-out service is available. Leashed pets are welcome. And if camping is your thing but so is a little glamour, the resort has four two-bedroom glamping tents with electric fireplaces and air conditioning. Enjoy all the amenities of this active resort, from an 18-hole golf course to its sandy beach, marina and waterpark obstacle course. There are organized activities for kids, beach volleyball, tennis, bocce, fun-filled theme weekends, an on-site restaurant and two popular lounges, one just for adults.
