The Bar Harbor Regency offers guests three enticing restaurants for wonderful waterfront dining. Edenfield Restaurant presents a full breakfast buffet and, in the evening, upscale family dining. Enjoy a cocktail in the lounge and then a fantastic dinner with the moonlit ocean as a romantic backdrop. The Edenfield also takes care of room service delivery for guests who want a private meal. Stewman’s Lobster Pound serves fresh local seafood in a casual atmosphere. Situated near the hotel’s private marina, Stewman’s features live Maine lobster, steamer clams, mussels, homemade lobster bisque and, of course, New England clam chowder. The poolside Tiki Bar offers sandwiches and beverages throughout the day. Enjoy a pina colada, strawberry daiquiri, or another of your favorite beverages as you relax poolside, enjoying views overlooking the Maine coast and local islands.

Originally built in the 1800's the Bar Harbor Club has enjoyed a long, storied history of entertaining the luminaries of its time. Today, it has been restored to its former grandeur offering a classic New England feel with old world club charm. Spacious windows circling the room offer panoramic ocean views, polished antique woods, fine linens and experienced staff take you back to another time in our Club Dining Room while a talented culinary crew prepares a sumptuous array of signature entrees featuring innovative and seasonally inspired interpretations of classic New England cuisine. Dining at the club epitomizes the New England spirit - very much in the present but grounded in the time-honored pleasure of the past. Open daily for breakfast and dinner.

Whether you choose the classic elegance of Marcel's or the casual comfort of the Breakwater Cafe or Clubhouse Grille, dining at the Samoset is an experience to savor. Marcel's tableside service and extensive, Wine Spectator award-winning wine list highlight the Samoset cuisine. Traditional New England fare, cocktails and entertainment can be found in the Breakwater Cafe. To round out your dining pleasure, indulge in a golf course view at the Clubhouse Grille.

While many Maine eateries are situated on tidal rivers or harbors, the Cape Arundel Inn is perched atop a little seaside knoll and commands unrestricted views of the open ocean. At dusk, when the day grows quiet, diners can hear the hypnotizing hum of surf crashing upon the jagged rocks below. The sensation feels a bit like living inside one of Winslow Homer’s epic seascapes—the horizon stretches out like taffy and the sky appears endless. Likewise, longtime chef Rich Lemoine uses the dining room as a canvas upon which to create epicurean masterpieces. The room blends charming wood floors and wainscoted ceilings with the elegance of crisp white linen tablecloths and cobalt blue goblets – but the art never distracts from the view; it accentuates it.
Lemoine’s menus are grounded in traditional New England fare, but his preparations feel wholly contemporary. His lobster stew, for instance, is enlivened with a drizzle of truffle oil, while his crab cakes are broiled with a layer of panko (Japanese breadcrumbs) and served with a sweet chili rémoulade and warm tricolor slaw.

The Dockside Restaurant is snuggly set on the shores of Harris Island. At one time Harris Island was completely surrounded by the Atlantic. Today, there is a road connecting Harris Island to the mainland. This has created a private peninsula jutting out into York Harbor (arguably the most scenic harbor on the east coast) and the Atlantic Ocean. We are known to locals and return visitors as the place for creatively prepared fresh Maine seafood in a yacht club atmosphere. The Dockside's wonderful food and York Harbor's nautical activity can all be enjoyed while seated on the screened porch or in the bi-level dining room. It's a yacht club with out the membership, casual neat is how you find our guests dressed so, leave your Blue Blazers home. Open Memorial Day through Columbus Day for lunch and dinner. Closed on Mondays and Saturday lunches.

95 Ocean is the highly regarded restaurant located just off the lobby in the Carriage House. From lobster cake appetizers to delicate desserts, the professional staff serves up an excellent dining experience. 95 Ocean was highlighted on the popular television program The TV Diner and received the shows “Platinum Plate Award.” Features and specials highlight Maine’s local farm produce and products, fresh herbs from The Nonantum’s garden and local seafood. 95 Ocean brings in some of Maine’s premier musicians for entertainment most nights of the week in season.

Enjoy the view at Stage Neck Inn's year-round Harbor Porches restaurant or the Outdoor Terrace and Pool Snack Bar. Harbor Porches offers oceanfront dining with 270 degree panoramic views. The Outdoor Terrace is open seasonally and features great views, a bug-free atmosphere, and a large-screen TV. For a more casual lounge atmosphere there's also our Sandpiper Bar & Grille, which offers cozy couches, high-top tables and a mahogany bar in which to meet with friends.

These restaurant choices give you the ability to tailor your dining experience, from casual to elegant, fun to romantic, depending on your mood and vacation style. Our menus change periodically, but always feature the freshest Maine Lobster and seafood as well as chicken, beef and vegetarian entrées. All restaurants are open to the dining public.
