It’s all waiting for you after your journey down the Kennebec or Dead River, each with its own thrills and challenges. Kennebec has legendary Class III and IV rapids at every turn before you get to float-next-to-your-raft time. And the Dead River’s Class IV and V rapids provide a continuous rush. Breakfast is included with all rafting and lodging packages.

On Millinocket Lake, with direct views of Mt. Katahdin, the New England Outdoor Center has a nature adventure for everyone. Go whitewater rafting on the Penobscot River, watch a moose grazing on a wildlife tour, hit the mountain biking or snowmobile trails, learn to fly fish or cross-country ski. Glide over the lake on a paddle board, kayak or canoe. Hike gorgeous trails in the autumn, then explore those same pathways with snowshoes in winter.
