Off Leash Dog Parks in the Greater Portland Region of Maine

This big dog park encloses seven acres in fencing for off-leash play, with separate sections for larger and small dogs. You and your dog can enter acres of trails just outside the park. Bring water and waste bags.
Hours: 6 a.m.-6 p.m.

This is a public park where dogs are allowed off leash, under voice control at:
East End Beach and the Northwest Shore
the grassy hill area between Cutter Street down to the lower sidewalk and over to the exit side of the Fort Allen roadway (north side of the "U" drive)
the mid-slope nature path, accessible from the northwest corner of the parking lot on the north side of Cutter Street.
Owners must have a leash in hand at all times and be physically near their dogs. The number of dogs per person is limited to three. Dog park map.
Off-Leash Hours: Memorial Day to Labor Day, before 9 a.m. and after 5 p.m.’ after Labor Day to Memorial Day, 5 a.m.-10 p.m.
