Sugarloaf offers tubing for kids age 12 and younger on the Birches on Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday nights. Sessions are 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. and 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $10 per session, available at The Outpost on Main Street. Tickets go on sale 30 minutes before start of session. No pre-sales or reservations for tubing. Tubing availability is limited and can sell out. Tubing is always weather dependent. Check on hours and snow conditions by called the Outpost at 207-237-6875.

Snow tubing offered at large downhill ski area on Fridays, Saturdays, and holidays
The snow tubing park at Sunday River is located on Sundance Trail in South Ridge. Access to this trail is by the Sundance surface lift. Tickets are sold at the Welcome Center at South Ridge Lodge. A limited number of tickets is available. Tube riders must be at least 5 years old or 36 inches tall. Everyone is encouraged to wear a helmet for tubing. Fee: $10 per hour. 12 lanes of snow tubing served by an express lift. Sledding also is offered. Night tubing and sledding. Park does snowmaking. Must be at least 3 feet tall to do snow tubing, Single riders must be at least 4 feet tall. Children between 3 and 4 feet tall must ride in a double tube with an adult. Snow tubing tickets are sold for set time blocks. See park’s calendar page for operating times and time blocks. Single tubes are $18 per session; doubles are $27 per session. You may order tickets online; reservations are not taken by phone. Goodies Café sells food, soft ice cream, hot and cold drinks.
