Kegs & Roses

Jun 27, 2026 - Jun 27, 2026 7 Singles Road Cape Elizabeth, ME 04107

The Hogfish Season Kick-Off Concert in the Rose Garden. A once-a-year invitation for the public to experience the spiritual home of Hogfish's regenerative artist residency in the internationally recognized rose garden of historic Beckett Castle on the rocky cliffs of the Atlantic Ocean. Every year is different, with the roses at peak bloom, floral installations, and artists from Maine and around the world. Hogfish heals the division of our times by cultivating a new genre of Regenerative Arts - stories and artistic experiences that help us remember our connection to each other and the earth. To do so, we have created a 501(c)(3) non-profit production company and residency that works both from the top-down and bottom-up. From the top-down, the production company adapts classics and creates new works that center traditionally under-represented voices. From the bottom-up, the residency supports artists-in-residence to create Regenerative Arts projects from their own perspectives.

Thunderstruck: A Classic Rock Tribute

Jun 20, 2026 - Jun 20, 2026 138 York St Kennebunk, ME 04043

St David's Episcopal Church, Kennebunk, ME From ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’ to ‘Free Bird’ — an unforgettable night of strings and light. An Immersive Candlelit Journey Through Iconic Rock Anthems “Rock and roll meets classical music in a gorgeously crafted hour of music.” Step into a world of shimmering light, where legendary rock anthems are reborn through a single violin — played with the fire and intensity of a full band. This is not just a tribute show. This is Blue Violin — a genre-defying, conservatory-trained virtuoso who has lit up stages from Carnegie Hall to Singapore, and now brings his world tour to Australia, Europe, Asia, and across the U.S. Often described as “Trans-Siberian Orchestra meets Lindsey Stirling,” Blue Violin delivers fiery virtuosity and cinematic flair in every performance. Blue Violin has been earning international accolades for genre-bending performances that blur the line between classical virtuosity and rock energy.
