Christmas by the Sea

Christmas by the Sea is an eagerly anticipated event weekend by families both near and far. A tradition in Camden that kicks off the holiday season during the first weekend of December. This year is no exception: plans include a holiday parade, stores open late with ongoing sales, carriage rides, a tree-lighting in Harbor Park, carolers, the "real Santa”, and many crafts, fairs and activities throughout the Midcoast communities. An event weekend beautifully orchestrated by the Camden Area Business Group that will have you believing you are in a Hallmark Movie. No experience needed; all materials included.

Children’s Storytime & Hot Chocolate — 2–4 PM
Join us for an afternoon of stories with guest readers before the Festival of Lights parade. Enjoy hot chocolate afterward!
After the parade, children may also visit Santa (sponsored by York Parks & Recreation).

Yuletide Concert with Great Bay Sailor — 4 PM
Close out the weekend with a heartfelt holiday performance celebrating seasonal music traditions from around the world.
