Aroostook State Park

The northernmost of all Maine state parks is set alongside Echo Lake. It covers 577 acres, offering hiking, fishing, swimming areas, and picnicking. Boating and canoeing are permitted in the lake. In winter there are groomed cross country ski trails and groomed snowmobile trails traverse the park. Public campgrounds are available for a fee. Reservations are suggested.
