The Captain Jefferds Inn Bed & Breakfast in Kennebunkport is a warm and inviting 1805 sea captain’s home. From the time you enter through the inn's red front door you will experience the charm, comfort and exceptional hospitality provided by the innkeepers and the dedicated staff. We have five rooms that are dog friendly. The rooms are located in our attached carriage house, all with convenient outside entrances to make it easier on you and your four-legged friend, and for the comfort of our other guests. There is an additional $30 per-dog per-day charge and we offer excellent in house dog-sitters at a rate of $10 per hour. We will gladly provide any number of pick-up bags for your use and there is a convenient trash can located at the top of the green next to the inn.

Our inn is located directly across the street from the Kittery Outlet Malls and just up the street from the Kittery Trading Post. Our beautifully appointed guestrooms feature amenities such as HBO, direct dial telephones, hair dryers, 24-hour coffee service and guest controlled heat/air conditioning, and our guests enjoy a full complimentary breakfast each morning. Being the only 3 diamond AAA approved property in Kittery, the Coachman strives each year to do something to improve upon their already superior guest comfort and convenience.

Sea Mist has limited and specific accommodations. Currently there are 4 rooms available for guests traveling with pets. To ensure availability be sure to call ahead to reserve a designated “Pet Room”. Our designated “Pet Rooms” offer you and your pet comfort and convenience and help safeguard guests who may be subject to pet allergies.

We strive to deliver quality & affordable accommodations and ask that pet owners refrain from using guest towels for pets or allowing pets on beds or other furnishing. If you forget to bring items from home we have loaner pet towels and bedding. Daily maid service is required for all pet rooms. Leashed dogs are allowed on Wells Beach. Mid-June thru mid-September dogs are allowed only before 8AM and from 6PM-8PM.

To make your pet feel at home, away from home, we supply blankets, food and water bowls, trash bags, walking maps, treats, and lists of pet friendly beaches in our area.
