The Camden Riverhouse Hotel & Inns are situated in the quiet side of downtown Camden. We love animals here at the hotel and we offer a limited number of rooms (located on our first floor) to guests with dogs. Prior approval is mandatory but no pet fee per dog per night is required. The Riverhouse Inn offers comfortable, cottage-style, extended-stay suites that are perfect for your in-town stay or an extended visit. We at the Captain Briggs House B&B want to welcome all family members, which means that we also include the family dog! Of course, we have to make sure our other guests are also comfortable, so there a few rules for dogs and their pet owners:

• No continuous barking should you leave the dog in your guest room.
• House broken, naturally!
• Dogs must be well-behaved and friendly. No picking fights with other dogs or snapping at other guests.
• Preferably, pets should not sleep with their owner in the same bed. (We do recognize that some dogs have always slept with their owners, so this is not a hard and fast rule!)

We love dogs and realize that more and more travelers are taking their beloved pets with them. That is why we are welcoming travelers with dogs with "open paws" to our pet friendly lodging. Our Pampered Pooch Package includes a comfortable and plush fleece doggy bed, gourmet dog biscuits, water and food bowls, and an extensive list of local outdoor recreational activities for you and your pet to enjoy, doggy daycare options, and local veterinarians just in case something unexpected occurs. To respect our other guests, we have a limit of two well behaved dogs per room (no size restrictions), and ask that dogs not be left unattended at anytime in your room and be kept on leash in all public areas. Guests will be asked to sign and adhere to our pet policies and etiquette upon arrival and check-in. There is a $25/pet/night fee. Specific rooms are designated pet-friendly, so please call ahead to make your reservation.
