Air & Sea Package (Back by Popular Demand!)

You can get a jump on your sailing vacation and also beat the traffic this summer by taking advantage of a new Air & Sea Package offered by the Maine Windjammer Association. This special cost-saving package begins with a flight from Boston's Logan Airport to Rockland, ME aboard Cape Air. Sights of the bustling city will give way to unsurpassed aerial views of the spectacular Maine coast, and as the flight approaches Rockland you'll be able to spot the Owl’s Head Lighthouse atop craggy rocks jutting out to the sea. Once you arrive, ground transportation provided by Schooner Bay Taxi & Limo will bring you to the dock for whichever of the twelve historic schooners in the Maine Windjammer fleet you've selected. Return transportation is also included, so your car & plane will be waiting when you return to the dock. All for just a $150 upgrade above the cost of any regular 3- to 6-day windjammer cruise (Cruise prices start at about $400).
The 12 historic vessels in the Maine Windjammer Association fleet sail from May to October, with trips ranging in length from weekend getaways to six-day sailing adventures.
